I led the survey development, data collection, quantitative analysis, and data visualization for both of these mixed methods studies on the prevalence of harmful attitudes related to masculinities in the Unites States.

INTERNATIONAL MEN AND GENDER EQUALITY SURVEY
My involvement with the International Men and Gender Equality Survey began in 2009, and these three studies represent major milestones in this project which ultimately gathered over 60,000 individual survey respondents.

FATHERHOOD RESEARCH
I lead authored the first ever State of America’s Fathers report in 2016 as well as the second edition of the State of the World’s Fathers in 2017. From this point, I have remained a high-level contributor to these influential series.

COVID AND CARE SURVEY
This study helped demonstrate how the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated intersectional inequalities related to unpaid care work. Working with an excellent team, I steered survey development, data collection, and analysis.

EXPLORATORY STUDIES ON VIOLENCE PREVENTION
These exploratory studies deal with specific practical considerations for global practitioners of violence prevention programs, drawing exclusively on in-depth expert interviews. I was honored to be able to co-author them with leading violence prevention organizations in Uganda and Haiti.
